Understand the Rewards of Students Creating their own Internet Business
By vine | September 19th, 2010College students know that it can cost a lot of money to get by. Trust me, I was in school for longer than I should have been. But I found a perfect alternative for generating money that sure beats the heck out of the jobs that most college students take. Is it possible for college and even high school students to start an internet business? Absolutely, an in many ways they have great advantages. Young people have grown up to be very tech-savvy. Teenagers and college students spend so much of their time online, why not turn that time into money?
I personally did exactly that. My junior year of college was only getting started, and I was bartending late nights just to pay my way. In fact , I was hardly making it. With graduation still years off, I got a little overwhelmed. “Is this it, am I doomed to struggle till I graduate?” fortunately for me I had noticed that many folks were earning profits with online home business possibilities. It looked like my only way out, so I gave it a go.
So what are the advantages of college kids and high school scholars who need to start their own web business? Well based on what I have personally experienced, as well as the extraordinary experiences of others I know, the benefits are excellent.
1-College students don’t need to Wait Tables to Pay for School!!
Any university student knows that it can be pretty tight financially. It is expensive to chase an education, and more to maintain a social life too. It can be pretty busy balancing a full time class schedule AND a full time job. It is rather more of a bummer when the jobs college kids are usually able to get pay “pennies.” After school costs, transportation, living costs, and food ( mac & cheese anyone? ), there is barely anything more to enjoy. On top of that, many students are compelled to spend a little less time studying and more time working. This takes a serious toll on the whole tutorial process. Is this inevitable? I do not believe so…..in fact, I know it’s not!! Starting an internet business can give college students a better route to take. They can earn extra cash, and at the same time have additional time for college and a social life.
2-High Schoolers Can get ready for varsity Before Hand
accept it or not, I know fifteen years old school scholars that have started extraordinarily successful online businesses. In reality they make a few thousand dollars a month, and they aren’t even 18!! Young people are extraordinarily computer-savvy. They know how to network, set up pages, and a lot of other talents that may be terribly helpful for a web business. Why not start one? It’s a productive way to spend time, and they’ll learn a lot that may help out later in life. And by creating a company which will work for them even when they are not. They’re going to be ready to head off to university with a steady income. They won’t ever have to flip-burgers or wait tables. They can focus on their education, and not lose any sleep over their finances.
3- Developing skills for the “Real World”
Many scholars have huge goals that don’t revolve around money. So while they may not wish to retire after school ( although they most likely could ), they will basically learn many skills that can help land them a fine job, and really add value to the company they are working for. Education plays an important role in getting a good job, but so does experience. What type of experience can youngsters develop by beginning a web business?
Well first of all they’ll learn a great deal about online marketing. Online promoting is something that pretty much every business is chasing, and running a successful online business will add amazing credibility to a resume. Networking is another crucial ability which has applications in nearly every career. Working on the web can help teens and college kids really develop some professional networking abilities. Writing also plays a role in an internet business, whether it be articles, web pages, or ad copy.
